The official opening ceremony of the congress was hosted by ANP President Antonello Giannelli, the Minister of Education of Italy, the Mayor of Rome, the Minister of Education of Finland, and European Commission representative Brenda Maher.

The forum brought together over 600 educational leaders from across Europe to discuss current trends in educational development, share expertise, and explore effective school management models.

The theme of the congress — “Powerful Leadership in Times of Change: Shaping a Sustainable, Innovative, and Healthy Educational Environment” — highlighted the role of educational leaders in building open, flexible, and supportive school communities. Participants attended keynote speeches, seminars, and workshops focused on educational quality, leadership development, challenges faced by today’s generation of students, and the impact of artificial intelligence on fostering critical thinking. The congress concluded with a closing ceremony and the announcement of the host city for the next ESHA Biennial.
